Importing Data

While EPSS allows data to be entered manually directly into the system, many users may choose to import data into EPSS automatically. EPSS's EDI Module allows for the importing of data from other systems, through the use of an intermediary file. Our extensive EDI specification document clearly describes the intermediary file structure, so that data can be extracted properly from your backend system (e.g., SAP) and automatically import them into EPSS.

The graphic shown here is a small excerpt from the EDI Spec document that describes in detail how the intermediary import file should be generated, including which pieces of data are mandatory vs. optional, data types, lengths, content, etc.
