Regulatory Compliance Auditing
Overview. As shown by our auditing experience, KCI has extensive experience conducting environmental, health, and safety audits of commercial, industrial, and government facilities. These audits help companies and facilities better understand their strengths and weaknesses related to compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards. Many audits also address conformance with company-specific policies and procedures.
Functional Areas. Our audits cover a range of topic areas, including:
- Hazardous and solid waste management,
- Water pollution control,
- Air pollution control,
- Spill prevention and control,
- Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; and
- Occupational safety and health (OSHA) regulations.
Industries. We have conducted and/or managed more than 50 compliance audits in states across the U.S. and in Canada.
Industries audited have included heavy equipment, paint, plastics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, research and laboratories, iron and steel, warehousing and distribution, food processing, railroads, and hazardous waste facilities.
Training. Many of our auditing assigments include a training component. Often, we conduct audits or serve as team
