Audit Program Critique & Audit Support

Having recently overhauled its global EHS auditing program, we were asked to provide a detailed critique of the design and implementation of the program. In addition to reviewing and critiquing the design and documentation of the corporate EHS audit program, we participated in four audits, one at each of the companies major operating units (aerospace, engine manufacturing, industrial equipment manufacturing) to observe how the audits were implemented and managed by the different operating units. On several of the audits we also served as part of the audit team, helping to assess EHS compliance and management systems issues. As a result of our work, we were able to make specific, concrete suggestions for improving the program, which improved the consistency and quality future audits.
